One of the features of the BMS is to protect the battery from having cells drained too low. To do that, there is a part called LVC ( Low Voltage Cut off) ON that setup, it is set to 2.1V so the BMS have to cut the throttle signal to the controller using a trigger output that will close if one or more cell reach 2.1V. The choice for 2.1V instead of 2.5 or 2.7V is because the battery pack cold be used during cold weater and the battery voltage sag is more important on cold conditions. To test this feature the load is a 120V 40W light bulb and the controller and throttle was replaced by a circuit using a mosfet that conduct or not the output current to the lightbulb. as soon as the voltage of any cells reach as low as 2.1V the mosfet stop conducting and fut the current.</p>
