Solar Stik™ Power Pak 100 – Destructive Impact

Another extremely physical demonstration of the kind of abuse the Solar Stik™ Power Paks are designed to withstand. This Impact video was the last of SIX (of the same Power Pak 100) onto solid concrete. Originally, we were using a zoom-in view that only focused on the Pak impacting the concrete, but the “close-up” shots failed to demonstrate the actual height of the drop. It was our intention to edit out the personnel shown in the video, but decided against it in the end, preserving the authenticity of the raw shoot. Upon completion of the production, the Power Pak 100 featured in this video was inspected, and subsequently returned to service. A subsequent video will be released that compiles the entire sequence of drops, throws, and other bloopers that occurred during the production… Enjoy!
